1. Skincare Products

It’s undeniable that Asian skincare products are well known all throughout the world. Most Asian skincare products have special ingredients in them like snail essence, Q10, and bee venom. Sometimes, it isn’t even about the special ingredient but about the packaging. Also, another factor why Asians go “all out”, so to speak, on skincare products is because the obsession with youth is present. Ever wonder why most Asians age so well?

2. Romantic Comedy & Horror Movies

Ok, so Western countries definitely take the cake when it comes to making action movies, drama and other movie genres but, on the other hand, you have to give it to Asia for making a handful of successful romantic comedy movies and horror movies. Some of which have been adapted into the Western cinema.

See for yourself. Pick one Asian romcon and one Asian horror flick. After watching the romcon, it will be hard for you not to search for more. And, after the horror movie, you won’t be able to sleep for at least a few days.

3. Education / Academics

This is one aspect that does not need explanation but, of course, we have to address incorrect stereotypes first. Not all Asians are good at academics but most excel in this area. Asians also have a natural knack for numbers and, agree or not, their mother also play a role in making them study when they were very young. This is mainly because education is valued greatly in many Asian countries.

4. Wacky Inventions

Mostly, the Japanese are to thank for this one. Don’t know what we’re talking about? Go to Google and then type in Japanese inventions. You’ll see a contraption that gets your hair out of the way when you’re eating noodles (it’s not a scrunchy). You’ll also see tools that will help you avoid nodding back and forth like a bobby head when the urge to doze off is felt while on public transportation.

5. Rice

There’s no denying that Asians do rice better than anywhere else in the world. It is here that you will find different rice varieties prepared in different ways – pair it with viand, roll it up and shape it along with other ingredients, fry it up with other ingredients, make it sweeter and etc. There are a lot of possibilities when talking about rice to an Asian.
