When you meet your online date for the first time, do you think that you’ll be able to make a deeper connection right away? Let’s say, you have been chatting for about a week. Is a deeper connection possible with only a limited interaction?
Make A Deeper Connection By Tapping Into Your Sensitive Side
When you go on a date for the first time, you don’t really tap into your sensitive side just yet because you don’t know the person enough. Most of us decide to show our sensitivity and vulnerability when we are sure that we can trust a person. However, there are a few ways to show your sensitive side without being too vulnerable:
Focus On Emotions
Let’s say you’re having a conversation with your date, and then he or she says that painting is a great passion. Focus on how painting a picture makes your date feel. Ask, “What type of emotions do you feel while you’re painting?”
Follow Up With Motivation
Keep the conversation going. Ask your date about his or her motivation to point. For example, “What inspires you to paint? Do you have a plan to be a famous artist?”
Guess Your Date’s Traits
When your date has answered all the questions above, now is the time to make a guess. From your date’s answers, what kinds of traits does he or she possess? For example, creative, intelligent, passionate, he or she thinks out of the box, and etc. It’s like giving out a compliment without being too obvious about it.
You can say something like, “I would love to see your paintings sometimes. You’re definitely a creative person who is passionate about art.”
It’s, of course, going to take some practice, but you will get the hang of it once you do it more often. When you do all the three steps, your date will feel like you already know him or her. It might also give your date the impression that you are intuitive. Use this technique to establish a deeper connection with those who you want to be in a relationship with.
